Ziegeleschle II industrial area in Hüfingen developed digitally
When an open site becomes a new industrial area, everything above and below ground has to fit together. For this development, our long-standing customer Greiner Ingenieure GmbH relied on BBSoft® to plan roads, sewers and the water supply.
The construction phase was carried out from 2022 to 2024. The result is a new commercial site in which traffic areas, drainage and utilities were planned and coordinated together.
Challenge
Many trades. One functioning infrastructure.
An industrial area needs more than roads and building plots. For the infrastructure to work, traffic areas, drainage and utilities must be coordinated precisely.
The focus was on the interplay above and below ground.
Elevations, gradients, manholes, pipes, kerbs and traffic areas all have to match. Only then do individual trades add up to a functioning overall infrastructure.

The Ziegeleschle II development shows how many elements interlock in an industrial area:

These figures make one thing clear: in development projects, the quality of the planning determines whether all trades work together cleanly later on.
Solution
Road, sewer and water thought of in one model.
With BBSoft®, the central trades of the development were processed digitally: traffic areas, sewer systems and the water supply.
For civil engineering design this means: elevations, gradients, alignments, manholes, pipes and surfaces cannot be considered in isolation, they have to be brought together in a technically sound way. BBSoft® provides support exactly where individual specialist designs become a coordinated basis for construction.
