BBSoft® enables the efficient editing of land-use plans and land development plans. Symbols, line types, and surface fillings in accordance with PlanZV are fully integrated. Map symbols are generated automatically using a conversion table, while surfaces are hatched and labeled automatically. Custom elements and symbols can be added as needed. Changes in scale automatically adjust symbols – ensuring high-quality plan design in line with current standards.

BBSoft® defines setback areas for above-ground structures and verifies compliance with minimum distance requirements. Setback area plans are created and visualized in the location plan: different gable types are simulated, setback depths are calculated based on formulas, and results are output as reports. Line styles, hatching, and color schemes of the setback area plan can be customized individually.

3D buildings, walls, and fences are created quickly and efficiently – as an extension of the BBSoft® planning modules. Predefined building prototypes are available and can be customized in terms of width, roof shape, number of floors, window types, and textures. Buildings are generated directly from ALKIS ground-floor plans with a single click and projected onto existing digital terrain models – and can be exported as 3D solids for visualization software.

XPlanung 5.2 – BBSoft® supports the official standard for the exchange of spatial planning data in construction and planning. Land development plans in accordance with the German Building Code (BauGB) and Building Use Ordinance (BauNVO) are imported via the XPlanung interface, XPlan objects are edited and specified, and data is exported in XPlanGML format – enabling lossless, vendor-independent data exchange. All German municipalities are required to support XPlanGML; BBSoft® is fully prepared for this standard. Interfaces & exchange formats
