BBSoft® emerged from an engineering office. These roots leave their mark on our consistently practical orientation. Selling software wasn’t the original goal – the aim was to make our own planning work more efficient, safer and easier to understand.

Our civil engineering software emerges from real projects, precise requirements and through the ongoing interaction with our users. We develop instruments for the planning of infrastructure – from road to sewer planning up to accounting - instead of theoretical concepts.

BBSoft® has become a reliable partner in civil engineering thanks to many years of experience, deep technical know-how, continuous development and qualified personnel. Our path is characterised by sustainable, organic growth, close strategic partnerships and customer relations, which have grown over the long term.

The story behind BBSoft® reads like a storybook – with the big difference, that the story is true. Back in 1989 it all started at the dining table of Achim Bäuerle‘s grandmother. No investors, no open-plan office, no marketing plan. Therefor a lucid moment: civil engineering planning had to become easier, more practical and efficient.

The first version was developed in the children’s room. Presentations take place in the party room. Improvised – but with content: because BBSoft® was never a pure software project. From the beginning it was an instrumemt from practice, for practice. Developed by civil engineers, who planned, calculated and builded themselves. In this way the internal optimization project very quickly developed into a solution for other engineering offices too.

Our customers are people, who make through planning, building and maintenance of crucial infrastructure a significant contribution to create our world a little bit safer and worth living. We optimally support this precious and important work, by developing simple and user-friendly civil engineering software, combined with an extensive training and support concept.

Our aim is to make the world a little bit safer and worth living together with our partners and customers. We answer questions and realize specifically requirements, which are really relevant in everyday work.
